Latest BIOS and drivers.Ĭhipset is running over 60C and still not kicking in, although I don't think that it even needs to go that high. Have the same mother board and same problem. Leonard Super Moderator Offline Posts: Wanted to see if there was a final solution for getting your fan running. It doesn't always boot on the latest bios though. If anyone else has this board could you have a quick look at your fans for me? My fan seems to run all the time. Board wont boot with 2 sticks of ram (not working dual channel) I'd research a means to take them for a test run, but I wouldn't worry TOO much. It probably only will when you put heavy stress on its PCIe 4. Could be the chipset simply hasn't felt the need to make it run. I'm not an expert here, but in all the research I've done into the Zen 2 launch, it has been specifically stated that the chipset fan is designed to only run when necessary. Really don,t want to rebuild the whole thing. My question is does this run all the time or does it only kick in for high temperatures? If not is there anything I can do other than sending the board back. Then I noticed the PCI chipset fan is not running. Hi Guys, This may be a silly question! Everything running like a dream first time. Sounds like mobo issuesRegister Now! Login Register. I also have a Netgear router that I tried as well but no luck. I have multiple consoles that connect to the router and have not restriction. I have a gaming laptop that connects to gaming servers fine. Nichrome Global Moderator Offline Posts: Hi What router is it? Can you try different one? I only take responsibility for what I say, not for what you understand.Īny posts are my own views! Wireless router is xfinity arris I believe, but that is not the issue.

I've tested the speed due to the distance from PC to the main wireless router and its 80 mbps with cable 74mbps via wifi so its not a bandwidth issue.

I've updated the driver for the WLAN multiple times again since this post. Or do I need to return it or order something that works worth a damn. Finally plugged Ethernet cable in Also, performed speed test on wifi and LAN, same speed on both So I ask, please someone tell me that I have overlooked something with this wifi on this mobo.

Made sure that windows could not put the WLAN to sleep in device manager, same thing. Got some gaming servers to connect, then kicked after a few minutes, checked debugging logs, shows that connection times out after a 60 secs or so. Internet Explorer worked fine, Firefox, checked Netflix, youtube, but no Gaming Server would connect. Searched each games forum for some underlying thing I may have missed. When I tried to connect to gaming servers I received errors, not on one but multiple games.īeat my head on the wall for 5 hours, nothing worked. It wasn't until I installed my favorite games that I noticed something was wrong.

After the build and Win 10 install everything seemed to be working fine.
